, on the occasion of 'World EV Day', has announced the launch of its three commercial electric vehicles: thee GO e- Bus, thee GO e6 – Mini Bus & thee GO Danfe – Micro Bus. Introductory prices of vehicles are thee GO e-Bus at Rs. 1,26,50,000, thee GO e6 at Rs. 90,00,000- and thee GO Danfe at Rs. 44,00,000 respectively.
Commenting at the launch, Hemant Puranik – CEO, Thee GO said,
“E-Mobility is a permanent and an imperative solution for addressing ever-increasing pollution in Nepal. thee GO group of companies have synchronized their efforts to develop a holistic e-mobility ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Nepal. We are delighted that this ecosystem has come together and after months of strenuous efforts, we are launching three electric vehicles today. These high-performance electric buses are uniquely suited to address the aspirations of Nepalese customers as well as mainstream Businessmen, which will make EV as a mainstream mode of transportation. We are confident that these game-changing product range will further reinforce our commitment towards developing sustainable and responsible mobility solutions for Nepal.”The
Thee GO e-Bus
is a 28-seater premium electric bus with an approximate range of 200 km. Its features include ABS, roof hatch with the ventilation fan, stair light, protection bar, LED route board, remote control door, digital clock, MP3+ radio, charging receptacle, air conditioner, headrail, and so on. The bus can be customized to carry up to 70 passengers. From the safety point of view, the bus is equipped with a fire extinguisher, safety hammers (4pcs), a reverse camera, and a door monitoring system.
With a Lithium Iron phosphate battery of 129 kWh and a motor of 140 kW, the Thee-GO electric bus can give a driving range of up to 200 Kms under normal operating conditions. It can be used for public transport, urban fleet, intra-city travel, staff vehicle, and airport shuttle, etc.
The company says the running cost of the bus is only Rs. 7.1 per km which is approx. 70% less than the running cost of approx. Rs. 22 per km of equivalent diesel buses.Thee GO says the
e6 Mini Bus
is a luxury commuter, redefined to provide maximum comfort, minimize costs, and neutralize carbon footprint. It comes with an ample interior space, a large seating capacity, and an easy entry-and-exit sliding door, making it the ideal vehicle for transporting several passengers.
The Thee GO mini bus can be configured to have individual seats for up to 20 occupants (the configuration options include 14, 16, 17 & 20). It can be used as a fleet service vehicle, inter-city and intra-city travel, staff transport, airport shuttle, tourist vehicle, and school van etc.
With a lithium iron phosphate battery of 80 kWh and a motor of 110 kW, the minibus can give a driving range of up to 210 Kms under normal operating conditions (NEDC 280 km). The cost of electricity for running the bus is only approx. Rs. 3.2 per km which is app 70% less than the running cost of approx. Rs 13 per km of an equivalent diesel vehicle.The
thee GO Danfe microbus
is a multipurpose electric microbus equipped with technologically advanced features and an ideal choice for fleet service, inter-city and intra-city travel, staff transport, school van, airport shuttle, tourist vehicle, etc.
With a lithium iron phosphate battery of 42 kWh and motor of 60 kW, the Danfe microbus bus can give a driving range of up to 250 Kms under normal operating conditions (NEDC 300 km). Thee Go says the cost of electricity for running the bus is only Rs. 1.6 per km which is approx. 80% less than the running cost of approx. Rs 9 per km of the equivalent diesel vehicle.For more information, visit
